Gaddafi: the butcher of Tripoli

Barely one week after Lybians took to the street to call for the ouster of African uber madman, Muammar Gaddafi is proving his reputation as the butcher of Tripoli. Gaddafi has spent the last 42 years conning Libyans out of their national wealth, forcing the people into unnecessary regional and national disputes through his childish tantrums and belligerence and making Libya the laughing stock everywhere. In the last one week Gaddafi has authorized his minions including mercenaries and snipers to shoot and obliterate Libyans asking for more say in how their nation is being run. There's been much talk lately about the relationship between Hosni Mubark's government and the United States. Few, if any commentator or editorial have referred to any alliance between the peoples of the two countries. But what is the essence of national alliances?
