Motorola H17 : Factory Reset etc


Restoring the H17txt to factory settings erases all pairing information stored in the headset. This is useful when you get a new phone that you would like to connect to the H17txt instead of the one you were formally using.
Restore to Factory Settings
With your headset on, press and hold both Volume buttons and Call button for 10 seconds until the indicator light is steady blue

The H17txt can pair and control 2 phones at the same time.
To pair the H17txt , follow the steps listed below:
Pair and Connect First Phone
  1. Turn off any Bluetooth devices previously paired with your headset.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth feature of your phone. (You may need to contact the manual or manufacturer of your phone.)
  3. Place the headset on your ear.
  4. Turn on your headset by opening the boom. This is the on position.
  5. You will hear "ready to pair" This means that the H17 is in discoverable mode.
  6. The H17 will tell you what to do in order to connect to your phone. Follow these voice prompts.
  7. When your headset pairs with your phone, you will hear "pairing complete".
  8. Once the connection is completed you will hear "phone 1 connected."
Pair and Connect Second Phone
  1. Turn off the first phone you paired with the H17txt.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth feature of the second phone you are attempting to pair. (You may need to contact the manual or manufacturer of Search Amazon.com for bluetooth headsetyour phone.)
  3. Place the headset on your ear.
  4. Turn on your headset by opening the boom. You will hear "ready to pair" This means that the H17 is in discoverable mode.
  5. The H17txt will tell you what to do in order to connect to your phone. Follow these voice prompts.
  6. When your headset pairs with your phone, you will hear "pairing complete".
  7. Once the connection is completed you will hear "phone 1 connected."
  8. Power on the first phone you connected to the H17txt
  9. You will hear " phone 2 connected" once the H17txt is connected to both phones.
 Reconnecting one or both of the phones
  1. If you would like to reconnect the H17txt to a device it has been paired with, you simply have to power on the H17txt by opening the boom.
  2. Your phone will receive a Bluetooth connection request from the H17.
  3. Accept the Bluetooth connect request.
  4. If you would like to connect the second device, power the device on and follow the above steps.
