Unfortunately Iranian NW is not the only foreign policy bogey man. US foreign policy debate since the end of the Berlin Wall (or perhaps earlier) has been fraught with bogey men - This is President's Eisenhower's reasoning when warning the nation to beware of the military industrial complex. WAT,  WMD in Iraq, etc are all examples of mis-directed attention. The news from North Africa and the Middle East is beginning to reveal how this nation has been duped, and has allowed itself to be duped into mis-adventures....

Hopefully, this president will learn these important lessons of history and continue the hard work of re-investing at home. There is an old saying " Charity begins at home..." Republicans angling for more wars and less health should be schooled on this basic wisdom
